Ubisoft Toronto Studio Lays Off 33 Employees

Ubisoft Toronto, the studio in charge of the ambitious remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time set for a 2026 release, has opted to reduce part of its workforce. The company released a statement announcing the termination of 33 individuals to “conduct a targeted realignment to ensure it can deliver on its ambitious roadmap“.

Ubisoft has assured to offer severance packages and aid with job placement for those impacted.
