The last live-action actor from the original Resident Evil game has been identified as Jason Durkee. For years, fans of the game were trying to identify all the actors from the game’s full-motion video (FMV) sequences, which are known for their campy and memorable performances. While most actors had been identified, the actor who played Joseph, the bandana-wearing firearms specialist who gets attacked by dogs in the game’s intro, remained a mystery.
I've contacted Jason Durkee 5 years ago,I didn't get any reply, lately, someone is claiming that @FTDurkee confirmed his part as Jospeh Frost during a podcast. If it's legit, the mission is nearly complete, we only need Inez to reply, if she can get over the nasty/creepy vids. pic.twitter.com/8F8QFpKSsm

The only clue was that the actor’s first name was Jason. Fans speculated that it might be Jason Durkee, an American businessman living in Japan. Although initial inquiries did not yield confirmation, a podcast episode from June 2021 of the International Business Podcast revealed that Durkee himself confirmed his involvement. During the podcast, he mentioned his experience in side jobs and specifically recalled being in a video clip for Resident Evil (Biohazard in Japan), where he was “eaten by a dog” and “screaming and blood was going everywhere.”
Jason Durkee played Joseph Frost as he stated it there at 2:40 ,thanks to Khalid for the heads up.https://t.co/WVUpCSXVTi
