Terrifier: The ARTcade Game is an upcoming side-scrolling beat ’em up based on the Terrifier horror movie series. Developed by Relevo and published by Selecta Play, this game will launch in 2025 on several platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

The game features a nostalgic pixel-art style that calls back to ’80s and ’90s arcade hits like Battletoads, Streets of Rage, and Double Dragon. Players can take on the role of Art the Clown, the infamous villain from the Terrifier films, along with other characters from the franchise. Gameplay revolves around creating chaos on movie sets inspired by Art’s horrific deeds, battling emergency service workers and film crew members.
Terrifier: The ARTcade Game allows up to four players to join in local co-op, offering various game modes and environments. Players can look forward to exaggerated violence, finishing moves, epic boss battles after each level, and a selection of weapons and power-ups, like chainsaws and cleavers. The game aims to provide a meta-narrative experience that connects to the film series while maintaining an authentic retro gaming vibe.
