The custom PlayStation 1-themed PS5 console that made an appearance at an event last December has now revealed itself as a precursor to the new Sony PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection PS5 Pro console. This limited edition design celebrates three decades of gaming, harking back to the launch of the original PlayStation on December 3, 1994.
The PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle features the console itself equipped with a 2TB SSD and comes with an array of matching limited edition accessories. This includes a DualSense wireless controller, a DualSense Edge wireless controller, a DualSense Charging Station, a Console Cover for a Disc Drive, and a Vertical Stand. Additionally, the bundle contains several collector’s items, such as a cable connector housing styled like the original PlayStation controller, four cable ties shaped like PlayStation symbols, a PlayStation sticker, and a limited edition PlayStation poster (with 30 possible designs). While pricing details have not yet been disclosed, pre-orders are expected to begin next week.
