A new book dedicated to the history of Sony is now available to back through a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. Sony: Year By Year, is being written by Obsolete Sony, a social media profile that takes its followers on a trip down the Sony memory lane. The book is being edited by Sandeep Rai who is well-known for his hard work researching and presenting the stories and history behind Sony’s PlayStation products. The book’s layout is being prepared by retro gaming enthusiast Jason Maddison.
The book will cover key milestones and product releases, rare archival images and the biggest moments in Sony’s history. It will also include fascinating insights into how Sony created the must-have products and captured the hearts and minds of tech enthusiasts. The book has already met its printing goal and will be open for another 26 days at the time of going to press. There are plans to increase the size of the book depending on the final amount raised with added extras such as bookmarks also planned. Those interested can pre-order the book digitally, in hardback form or in the collector’s edition which includes a Kickstarter slipcase.
