MiSTerAddons is working on developing a solution for the long-standing issue of membrane failure in SNES controllers. Despite their impressive durability, many controllers are now experiencing unresponsive buttons due to this issue. The replacement membrane being developed by MiSTerAddons aims to closely mimic the original feel of the controller. The project is making good progress and holds great promise for extending the lifespan of these controllers.
