Nintendo has added three classic SEGA Genesis games to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service: Mercs, ToeJam & Earl in Panic on Funkotron, and Vectorman. This marks the first SEGA Genesis update to the service in 2024, giving fans more retro titles to enjoy.

• Mercs (Wolf of the Battlefield: Mercs)
  A fast-paced arcade action shooter, Mercs puts players in the role of a U.S. mercenary unit tasked with rescuing a kidnapped former president. The game features two modes: a seven-mission Arcade Mode and an eight-mission Original Mode, each with unique objectives and gameplay styles.   In this sequel to the cult-classic ToeJam & Earl, the funky alien duo returns to their home planet, Funkotron, only to discover it’s being invaded by Earthlings. This side-scrolling adventure tasks players with capturing the Earthlings and sending them back home while exploring colorful, action-packed levels filled with quirky humor and funky vibes.
  
  
• Vectorman
  Set in a dystopian future where Earth has become a toxic wasteland, players control Vectorman, a robot tasked with stopping a rogue leader named Raster. Known for its fluid animations and fast-paced shooting gameplay, Vectorman is one of the most visually impressive games on the Genesis, featuring stunning graphics and high-speed action.
  
  

These games are available now for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers. Players can access them through the SEGA Genesis app on their Switch consoles.
