A video game publisher with a name like “Retrovibe” was always guaranteed to attract our attention here at Retro News. But just who are they? Well, Retrovibe claim to be “a publisher that aims to unlock next levels of fun by delivering new indie games with a retro heart.” The publisher was was established in 2021 by “a group of experienced games industry professionals.”
Next month, Retrovibe will be releasing three of their retro-flavored indie games for PC all on the same day (December 9).
The three games in question are Janosik 2, a retro platformer with metroidvania elements, which has been developed by Onix Games, Undead West, a roguelite bullet hell set in a gritty, supernatural Wild West, which has been developed by solo developer Deathless Games, and Only Lead Can Stop Them, a fast-paced retro shooter set during the Spanish Civil War, which has been developed by Warcry Interactive. A free demo of the latter game is available now on Steam.
All three titles will be available on Steam and GOG, so whether you’re into platformers, roguelites, or first-person shooter games, there’s something for everyone, all in retro styles.
