Scarmonde is an upcoming 8-bit RPG set to launch on PC later this year, developed by indie creator Ephiam, known for Venaitura and To Aerthe. The game caters to fans of classic RPGs, offering a straightforward gameplay experience free from heavy storylines. Players take on the role of a hero summoned by the God of Dragons to form a four-person search party tasked with retrieving three Sacred Treasures. Similar to early Final Fantasy titles, players can recruit various characters, assign them different classes, and equip them with weapons, armor, and items found throughout their adventure. Scarmonde will be available on itch.io and Steam.
