Resident Evil 4 new stock sells out immediately

Resident Evil 4 new stock

Resident Evil 4 was first released for the GameCube back in 2005 before heading to PlayStation 2 and other platforms shortly after. The critically acclaimed horror action title has since become a fan favourite and recently was remastered for modern consoles. While second-hand copies of the game are available from places such as eBay, French publisher PixelHeart announced a batch of new sealed copies for the PlayStation 2.

Anyone could purchase a copy although PixelHeart stated they would limit the new old stock to one per customer. Sadly, the copies sold out almost immediately, even at the price of almost €60. Those who still wish to purchase new PlayStation 2 games can still grab some others from PixelHeart including sealed copies of SSX On Tour and Resident Evil Code Veronica although stocks are selling fast.

PixelHeart is well-known in the retro community for publishing high-quality new games for old consoles, especially Dreamcast, for many years. More recently it has been publishing retro-style games for modern systems, most notably the Switch. It currently is showcasing the pre-orders of a run ‘n’ gun Neo Geo game GladMort as well as some new Game Boy titles.
