Granzella has postponed the release of R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos, pushing it from its previously scheduled fall 2024 window to 2025. The game will be launched on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC through both Steam and the Epic Games Store.

This collection features remakes of the strategy RPGs R-Type Tactics and R-Type Tactics II: Operation Bitter Chocolate.

Initially slated for a summer 2023 release, the remake collection faced multiple delays, first moving to 2024, then to fall 2024, and now it has been delayed yet again.
