We recently brought you the news that Pocket Bravery, released on Steam in 2023 by developer Statera Studio, was being ported to Xbox, Switch, and PlayStation. Since then, the 2D fighting game has now launched both physically and digitally. While many retailers have a standard physical edition for the Switch and PlayStation versions, retro publisher PixelHeart has announced it will be releasing a limited edition physical.

This special edition of Pocket Bravery will include bonus content such as DLC characters, featuring Rick, a fighter from Guns N’ Runs by Statera Studio. PixelHeart has said that further details about the special edition will be released soon, but we can expect it will likely include some physical bonuses such as a certificate and artbook or similar.

In a press statement, PixelHeart said. “Pocket Bravery is an original fighting game in 2D style, with charismatic characters, vibrant colours and a combat system based on the classics from the ‘90s. The game is designed for high-level players, while remaining easily accessible to beginners!”

In further news concerning the special edition and its inclusion of a character from Guns N’ Runs, PixelHeart is running an exclusive promotion on another title from Statera Studio. This title will have 65% off until the 15th of April 2025 for a Switch or PlayStation physical copy. Also, a Golden Ticket is hidden in one of the Switch editions of Guns N’ Runs, giving you the chance to win a full-size custom gun.
