Overcooked is a 2016 cooking game that became something of a phenomenon following its release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One. and PC, with ports following for Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and even Google Stadia (remember that?!)
And the latest console to receive an Overcooked port, or more accurately, an Overcooked demake, is Nintendo’s monochrome handheld wonder, the Game Boy!
The Game Boy Overcooked demake has been created by Game Boy Demakes, who, as the name suggests, is dedicated to creating Game Boy demakes of “games, movies, manga and more.”
You can access the Game boy Overcooked demake by signing up for Game Boy Demakes’ Patreon for as little as $1 per month, with the higher tier of $5 per month also giving you access to previous projects by Game Boy Demakes. On the Patreon you’ll find Overcooked ROMs for use on both Game Boy and Analogue Pocket, and subscribers to the higher $5 tier will also be able to access previous projects by Game Boy Demakes, such as Mario VS Donkey Kong, Aviary Attorney, Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse, Okage King, and Frog Detective.
