Nintendo terminated its repair service for the Wii U due to exhausting replacement parts. The unique tablet controller, crucial for gameplay, is now scarce as it was exclusively bundled with the console. Online play, Wii U and 3DS eShops have been shut down, making about 1,000 digital-only games disappear. This also ended the Virtual Console service, making Switch Online the only platform for Nintendo retro games.
I’m Yousiff Taqi, born in ’87, and I’ve been a huge fan of retro games for as long as I can remember. My favorites are RPGs, Platformers, and Action Adventure. I’ve been interested in computers ever since I was young, which is why I pursued a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Purdue University.
