The Sega Game Gear is set to add a new shoot ’em up title, Battle Marine, developed by Suzuki Plan. Originally launched on Steam in February, the game combines retro elements with modern gameplay, featuring powerful lasers and intense action. Players assume the role of a naval commander tasked with avoiding projectiles, building attack combos, and collecting medals to maximize their scores.
Utilizing the custom VGS-Zero SDK and optimized for the handheld device, Battle Marine will be released on cartridge in September, offering an exclusive secret stage with music by Tadahiro Nitta, renowned for his contributions to various classic games.
