The hit pixel art roguelite dotAGE has a new expansion pack for eager village elders to get their teeth into. Titled Folkways, the new DLC has been launched in conjunction with a new deal that gives 30% off the main game and 10% off the expansion. There is also a shiny new trailer that shows off some of the new features players can expect from the expansion. The original game was developed by Italian solo dev Michele Pirovano and released in 2023.

dotAGE: Folkways adds a lot of new content to the base game, such as the new Pipfolks mechanic, with different Pipfolks that can join your village with various requirements for food, bonuses to production, and special events tied to their culture, which will make your villages even more unique. There are new mechanics to manage the villages through Prisons, Cages, Gallows, and even Pip Butchers. There are more than 100 new buildings with unique mechanics and quirks, such as Gold Mines, Koi Ponds, Statues, Aqua Parks, Inkwells, and Latrines. On top of all this, new events, resources, VIPs, ailments, including several new Boons that expand the game’s boundaries are included.
