Microsoft Might Announce A New Doom This Year

The American company appears determined to address the aftermath of the closure of several studios last week. In this regard, the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase on June 9 is expected to be packed with various announcements.

While new installments of Call of Duty, Gears 6, and Fable are anticipated, there are hints of another title about to be officially revealed. In a message on X.com, The Verge journalist Tom Warren suggested that a new DOOM game could be announced.

According to documents disclosed in the lawsuit between Microsoft and the FTC, it was indicated that the game might be named DOOM Year Zero.
