Capcom released the first chapter of Mega Man Legends 2 as a demo 25 years ago, exclusively for Japanese-speaking audiences. However, fans have now taken matters into their own hands by creating an English translation patch.

Hilltop Translations, known for their excellent work in fan translations, will release the patch on April 24. The demo, titled Episode 1: Roll’s Close Call, was included with the game The Misadventures of Tron Bonne and features original levels not seen in the final version of Mega Man Legends 2. This patch will also unlock hidden developer content, making it an exciting addition for fans of the beloved series who have been awaiting new content since the cancellation of Mega Man Legends 3 over a decade ago.
