Capcom has confirmed that the Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics will be available on Xbox One in 2025, following initial announcements only for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The Xbox release, which comes later than other platforms’ September and November 2024 launches, is delayed due to “technical discussions with our partners at Microsoft.”
This collection features seven classic Marvel vs. Capcom games and The Punisher, offering enhancements like online play with rollback netcode. Meanwhile, Capcom Fighting Collection 2 has been announced for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Windows with a 2025 release, but there is no confirmation for an Xbox release at this time.
We're happy to announce that after technical discussions with our partners at Microsoft, MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics and Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will release on Xbox One! ?
