Limited Run Games is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Sega Dreamcast with a special collection of merchandise, including trading cards. This collection is a collaboration with Sega and features a variety of items that pay homage to the iconic console, which was originally released on September 9, 1999.
The centerpiece of the collection is the Dreamcast trading cards, which include over 200 premium cards featuring art from some of the system’s most iconic games and franchises, such as Sonic Adventure, Jet Set Radio, and Crazy Taxi. These cards are available in two formats: a hobby box containing four packs of five cards each, and a larger booster box with 24 packs. The trading cards are designed to appeal to collectors and fans of the Dreamcast, offering a nostalgic look back at the console’s legacy.
In addition to the trading cards, the collection includes a range of other merchandise, such as officially branded Dreamcast clothing (t-shirts and hoodies), a skate deck, a VMU keychain, and a commemorative coin. These items are available for pre-order until October 13, 2024, with shipments expected to begin in March 2025.
