The premium gaming book publisher Lost In Cult has announced a new Legacy of Kain book and tabletop game. The project has come about from a collaboration between Cook and Becker, the game’s developer Crystal Dynamics and Lost In Cult. Legacy of Kain: The Book of Nosgoth explores the 30-year history of the series through articles on its lore, behind-the-scenes materials, original sketches and concept art, and interviews with developers.The tabletop game, titled Legacy of Kain: Scourge of the Sarafan, is set before the events of Blood Omen, one of the series’ best entries.

The book and game are now available to pre-order through the campaign until 28th February 2025. There are plenty of options, including special packs that include both the game and the encyclopedia. Those wanting the full experience can opt for the deluxe editions which have a bounty of extras from slipcases, special character sheets and presentation boxes.
