GungHo Online Entertainment has released a new story trailer for the Lunar Remastered Collection, showcasing animated cutscenes, gameplay footage, and voice acting ahead of its April 18, 2025 release. The collection includes remastered versions of two beloved JRPGs: Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete.

The trailer highlights the games’ narratives, featuring Alex, an aspiring Dragonmaster who fights against the Magic Emperor in the first game, and Hiro, who embarks on a quest with a mysterious girl named Lucia in the sequel set 1,000 years later.

This definitive remastered edition offers enhanced graphics, audio, and quality-of-life improvements that modernize the classic experiences while maintaining their nostalgic 90s charm. Players can choose between classic or remastered mode, with the latter featuring widescreen support, revamped PS1 pixel art, and high-definition animated cutscenes.
Additional features include strategic turn-based combat, fully-voiced attacks and incantations in either Japanese or a new English voiceover, expanded language support (now including French and German), and options to speed up battles.
The collection will be available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, with physical editions featuring reversible covers with special art from character designer Toshiyuki Kubooka available exclusively through Amazon in North America and Clear River Games in Europe.
