Gamestation Retro Announced by MyArcade

Gamestation retro consoles

Gamestation Retro is a new range of three retro gaming consoles from MyArcade, comprising the Gamestation Retro Go handheld console, which features an 8” high-resolution display and a rechargeable battery, for an estimated MSRP of $199.99 US, the Gamestation Retro Pro home console, which comes with 1080p HDMI output, and two rechargeable wireless controllers, for an estimated MSRP of $149.99 US, and the Gamestation Retro Mega tabletop arcade cabinet, which features a 10.1” high-resolution display, wood construction, and a mechanical joystick and action buttons, for an estimated MSRP of $299.99 US.

The Gamestation Retro consoles will offer over 100 officially-licensed games from Bandai Namco and Capcom, including Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug, Pole Position, Street Fighter II, Mega Man, Final Fight, and 1942.

With the selection of games on offer, and the multiple hardware SKUs, it’s hard not to be reminded of Blaze Entertainment’s Evercade line, but here at Retro News, when it comes to options for playing retro games, we say “the more, the merrier”, and we’re delighted that retro gaming seems to be so popular these days! The Gamestation Retro consoles are due for release in Q3 2025, but attendees of CES in Las Vegas between 7 and 10 January will get a chance to see Gamestation Retro in action at the MyArcade booth.

Just as an aside, we’d like to note that despite sharing a name, the Gamestation Retro obviously has no connection to the long defunct UK-based video game retail chain Gamestation!
