Marron’s Day is a new Game Boy-inspired adventure from Spanish retro developer RAWRLAB Games. It will be released to Switch on 20th February 2025 priced at $9.99 with a 20% discount for those that buy in the first week of sale. The developer, who has also released many other retro-inspired titles, has described Marron’s Day as a “homebrew Game Boy game with lots of surprises!”

In the game players control Marron, a young bunny, and help the cute animal friends in the town so that they’ll sign up for stalls at the local festival! Players will enjoy the cosy and retro graphics as they explore the town and find items that help other characters fulfil the mission of saving the town festival and making everyone happy.

The game has some beautiful pixel art that wouldn’t look out of place on a Game Boy adventure title from back in the day and chiptune music to complete the retro feel. The budget title is rounded out with mini-games and a charming story to accompany the cutesy feel.
