Freedom Wars is set in a dystopian future where humanity lives in massive prison complexes called Panopticons due to the scarcity of resources. Players take on the role of “Sinners,” individuals sentenced to a million years in prison simply for existing. The game involves participating in dangerous missions to reduce this sentence, fighting against rival Panopticons and rescuing citizens from abductions. The remastered version will also feature quality-of-life improvements, including new difficulty settings and refined controls.
