Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is a tactical RPG first released on Game Boy Advance in Japan in 2004, before receiving an international release in 2005.
While being the eighth overall entry in the long-running Fire Emblem series of RPGs, Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones was only the second game in the series to be released outside of Japan.
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones was the third and final entry in the Fire Emblem series to be released for Game Boy Advance, with the previous two GBA Fire Emblem games being Fire Emblem and Fire Emblem: The Binding blade, both of which are already available on the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service.
