We love a good retro showcase here at Retro News and are excited to see MAGFest and Mega Cat Studios teaming up to put on The Indie Retro Homebrew Showcase in 2025. The finalists for the event have been announced and the selections aim to celebrate “the most innovative and promising indie homebrew games developed for retro consoles.”
The show has been running for several years and showcases a diverse range of indie retro as well as homebrew titles available for new and old systems. The showcase will take place at Super MAGFest, a four-day-long event dedicated to the appreciation of video game music, gaming of all types, and the gaming community, held in Washington DC.
