The game Final Bubble Bobble, a definitive console port of the classic Bubble Bobble arcade game, has been reissued in Japan. Originally released in 1988 for the Sega Mark III, this version introduced several enhancements over the original, including additional secret rooms, items, endings, and bosses. It was later released in Europe in 1991 for the Sega Master System.

This reissue is now available on the Nintendo Switch eShop in Japan, priced at ¥660. This marks the first time Final Bubble Bobble is available as a standalone purchase for the Switch, although it was previously offered as a bonus for pre-ordering Bubble Bobble 4 Friends on Amazon Japan during a special promotion in 2019. Currently, there is no announcement regarding a release outside Japan.
