April marks the beginning of the year for both students and employees in Japan, and it’s often a challenging period that benefits from a touch of cuteness. Pokémon fans can look forward to a smile thanks to a line of cakes by Ginza Cozy Corner, showcasing the beloved Pikachu and the “Eievui Friends Collection.”
Eevee goes by “Eievui” in Japan.
The Pikachu cake costs 745 yen (about US$4.93), and the Eievui Friends Collection is 3,132 yen. These cakes are available at Ginza Cozy Corner shops that sell fresh cakes, but not in Hokkaido, Kyushu, Fukui, Kyoto, Shiga, Tottori, Shimane, Yamaguchi, Ehime, or Kochi. They’re on sale from April 12 to May 31.
