The recent Capcom Super Election survey results revealed Devil May Cry 5 and the Dino Crisis series as popular choices among participants. Conducted in early February 2024, the survey included 10 inquiries on beloved Capcom franchises and players’ desires for future developments.

Devil May Cry 5 emerged as the favorite Capcom game with 15,157 votes, closely followed by Dino Crisis and Resident Evil 4 Remake. Age group analysis showed that individuals in their 10-20s preferred DMC 5, while Dino Crisis was favored by those in their 30-40s and 50-60s. Dante, Leon Scott Kennedy, and X from Mega Man X dominated the preferred Capcom character category, with Phoenix Wright ranking high in Japan. Dino Crisis was the top choice for a sequel or new installment, followed by the Mega Man series and Devil May Cry series globally.

Onimusha and Breath of Fire trilogies were popular choices for remakes, with many respondents wanting the revival of past Capcom IPs as a major grievance with the company.
