Brazilian company GamesCare is reviving Sega’s canceled Neptune project with the FPGA-based GF1 Neptune console. Recently, a prototype was showcased running a pre-alpha version of Sword of the Apocalypse, the first exclusive game for the device. The GF1 will feature wireless capabilities, an online store for new and exclusive games, compatibility with Sega CD, and support for 1080p output via HDMI.
