Delta Emulator For iOS Will Be Adding Online Multiplayer Support For Nintendo DS Games

The Delta emulator for iOS is set to receive online multiplayer support for Nintendo DS games, as confirmed by its developer, Riley Testut. This feature will allow users to connect with others through third-party Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection servers, such as Kaeru, Wimmfi, and AltWFC, since the official Nintendo DS online services were discontinued in 2014.

The online multiplayer functionality will initially be available in a beta version of Delta, accessible to Patreon subscribers before a broader release. While there is no specific public launch date yet, this development promises to enable over 10 million Delta users to enjoy online play with both other emulator users and those on original DS hardware using these third-party servers.

This enhancement is part of Delta’s ongoing evolution, which already supports various classic Nintendo consoles and offers features like controller support, save states, and more.
