Our friends at Gracious Films have a new retro Blu-ray up for pre-order, focusing on the Commodore 64. The second disc in the series of Classic Game Insights, Commodore 64: Classic Game Insights Vol. 1, is currently at the crowdfunding stage with a limited supply of 300 discs available. Each of the 300 copies will be signed and numbered, with any future prints being a standard edition. The disc features fourteen unique films, each covering a classic Commodore 64 game & including interviews with the developers themselves.
Those pre-ordering will receive a 4K download of one of the interviews, Paradroid with Andrew Braybrook, at the end of the crowdfunding campaign, which runs until 30th April 2025. Assuming the target is reached, the discs are scheduled to be dispatched in June 2025 although backers can access the interviews digitally from May 2025.
