Clock Tower: Rewind Launches in the West on October 29

Clock Tower: Rewind, a remastered version of the classic survival-horror game originally released in 1995, is set to launch in the West on October 29, 2024. Developed by SUNSOFT in collaboration with Capcom and WayForward Technologies, this updated version brings the iconic horror experience to modern platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

  • Remastered Experience: The game retains its original 16-bit charm while incorporating modern enhancements such as improved controls and new features. This includes a new animated intro, motion-comic cutscenes, and a vocal theme song by Mary McGlynn.

  • Gameplay Modes: Players can choose between Original Mode, which offers the classic gameplay experience as it was on the SNES, and Rewind Mode, which includes enhancements like faster healing for Jennifer, additional items and hiding spots, and more dynamic enemy behavior.

  • Multiple Endings: The game features various endings based on player choices and actions throughout the adventure. This adds replay value as players explore different outcomes.

  • Cultural Impact: Clock Tower is recognized as one of the pioneers of the survival-horror genre. The remaster aims to introduce this classic to a new generation of players while preserving its legacy for longtime fans.

  • Special Editions: A Collector’s Edition is available for pre-order, featuring exclusive items such as a Barrow’s Mansion statuette, an acrylic figure set of Jennifer and Scissorman, and other themed collectibles.
