British retailer CEX has teamed up with console repair company Tech center to offer a new “no fix, no fee” service for old retro machines. If your old hardware breaks, you can get a quote online and drop it off at your local CEX store to be sent to Tech center for repairs. The repair process can be tracked, with the goal of fixing and returning the hardware within 7 days. If they are unable to fix it, there will be no charges, as Tech center promises no hidden inspection fees or other covert charges.
