Bloober Team, the developer behind the critically acclaimed Silent Hill 2 remake, has officially announced a new collaboration with Konami to develop a game based on one of Konami’s intellectual properties. This follows the commercial and critical success of the Silent Hill 2 remake, which sold over two million copies by early 2025 after its release in October 2024.

While the specific IP for the new project remains undisclosed, Bloober Team has expressed enthusiasm for continuing its partnership with Konami. The new game, currently codenamed “Project G”, will be developed for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Konami will serve as both the publisher and rights holder of the game.
Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno highlighted the fruitful collaboration between the two companies, stating that they aim to deliver “something truly special” to fans. However, details about the game’s genre or whether it will revisit the Silent Hill universe or explore another Konami franchise remain under wraps. Given Bloober Team’s expertise in horror titles such as Layers of Fear and The Medium, speculation leans toward another horror-themed project.
This announcement comes amidst a busy period for Bloober Team, which is also working on other projects, including Cronos: The New Dawn, set for release later in 2025. Fans of both Bloober Team and Konami can expect further updates on this mysterious project in due course.
