Battletoads Double Dragon is a brawler that crosses over Rare’s anthropomorphic amphibians with Technos’s martial artist Lee brothers.

Battletoads Double Dragon was originally released on a number of console formats by Tradewest between 1993 and 1994, and now, over 30 years later, Battletoads Double Dragon is returning to Game Boy thanks to Retro Bit and Limited Run Games.

While the Standard |Edition of Battletoads Double Dragon sold out quickly, the Collector’s Edition is still available to pre-order from Limited Run Games at the time of writing, though re-orders for the Battletoads Double Dragon Collector’s Edition for Game Boy will close on Sunday, April 13, 2025 AT 11:59 PM Eastern Time. The game is estimated to ship between Oct 24 and 31.

The Battletoads Double Dragon Collector’s Edition includes a green cartridge for Game Boy, numbered hardcover magnetic cartridge packaging, and an instruction manual.
