The classic baseball video game series Bases Loaded has made its way to PC today with the release of Jaleco Sports: Bases Loaded, a collection featuring both the original NES game from 1988 and Super Bases Loaded from the SNES era (1991). Published by Rock It Games in collaboration with City Connection and developed by Sickhead Games, this nostalgic collection is available now on both Steam and GOG.

The collection launched today (April 18, 2025) with a special 20% discount, bringing the price down to $10.39 until May 2, after which it will return to its regular price of $12.99. This release marks the return of the beloved franchise 37 years after the original debuted on the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Players can enjoy the original Bases Loaded with its realistic retro voice, action, and graphics, unique television-style presentation, and the ability to select from 12 different team lineups with 30 unique players. The collection’s signature behind-the-pitcher camera view remains intact.

Super Bases Loaded includes a unique center field TV perspective, five levels of difficulty, 13 different teams, and a special “radar” feature showing the location of fielders. The SNES version rates player skill across 13 different categories and includes a watch mode.

The PC release adds several quality-of-life improvements, including seamlessly switching between the NES and SNES versions, an updated in-game manual, Retro CRT Mode, and online leaderboards.

Notably absent are the seven other games in the Bases Loaded series, including one that featured official MLB teams and players.
