Atari to Launch Patch Packs

Atari Patch Pack

Atari are set to release a set of highly limited edition “Patch Packs”, which aren’t packs comprised of fixes for broken games, but the type of physical patch that will let you wear your love of Atari on your sleeve (or anywhere else on your clothing, or maybe on a bag for that matter).

In conjunction with DYLI, which is apparently “a new platform for collectors,” Atari will be releasing just 500 units of their Patch Packs, all of which will contain either one of seven new Atari patches or one of two vintage patches from the 1980s.

In addition to the patches, each pack may also include a bonus rare item, such as a sticker or gift card. One pack will even include a special item signed by Atari founder Nolan Bushnell. Could you be lucky enough to find it?!

The Atari Patch Packs drop next week and will cost $15 US. You can register your email address to get notified when the Atari Patch Packs go on sale now via DYLI’s website.

Atari Patch Packs certainly aren’t your usual video game collectible, indeed there’s something rather retro about it the concept. In fact, they remind us of collecting trading cards as youngsters! So, if you’re a big Atari fan, then these Atari Patch Packs could bring you a real blast of collectible nostalgic joy for just $15, if you’re quick enough to snap them up before they sell out, of course!
