Seven Atari Lynx games hit Xbox and PC today (April 9th 2025), with the launch of The Epyx Collection: Handheld.

Available to purchase as a digital download from the Xbox Store, The Epyx Collection: Handheld features seven of Epyx’s Atari Lynx games. The games are the 3D shooter Blue Lightning, the sports game California Games, the 3D side-scrolling shooter Electrocop, the side-scrolling shooter Gates of Zendocon, the side-scrolling shooter (are you starting to notice a pattern here?) Todd’s Adventures in Slime World, the vertical-scrolling shooter (ooh we’ve flipped 90 degrees!) Zarlor Mercenary, and, for a change of pace, the puzzle game Chip’s Challenge.

The Epyx Collection: Handheld was previously released on Nintendo Switch last year, and two collections of Atari Lynx games have also previously been released for Evercade, but these are now out of print “legacy” cartridges.

The Epyx Collection: Handheld was developed by Imagine and has been published by Pixel Games.
