Antstream Arcade is expanding its library with the addition of 50 more classic PlayStation 1 games. This move is part of the platform’s ongoing effort to provide a comprehensive retro gaming experience. Antstream Arcade, which recently launched on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, already offers over 1,300 vintage games through its subscription service. The addition of these PS1 titles aims to enhance the variety and nostalgia for gamers who enjoy classic games from the late 1990s and early 2000s.

In addition to expanding its PS1 offerings, Antstream Arcade is considering adding games from more recent consoles such as the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo GameCube. This potential expansion could introduce a new wave of classic games to the platform, further broadening its appeal to retro gaming enthusiasts. The service uses cloud technology to stream games across various devices, including consoles, phones, and computers, making it accessible to a wide audience.
In an interview with GameRant, Rouse mentioned:
“We currently have a lot of licensed PlayStation games. We look at upcoming game releases each week and aim to balance them across our various platforms and genres. If the community requests more PlayStation titles, we will respond by adding more. We have around 50 licensed PlayStation games now, and more are being added regularly.”
According to GameRant, Rouse also noted that Antstream plans to include more recent gaming systems, specifically mentioning the PS2 and GameCube.
