Someone managed to port Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Master System onto a TI-84+ calculator, making all other calculator-based games and novelties pale in comparison. The game, complete with all its levels and gameplay, can be played on the calculator. The porter, Grubbyplaya, notes that the game currently runs a bit slow, but has plans to improve the frame rate in future updates. This achievement showcases the creative potential of manipulating graphing calculators to do extraordinary things beyond basic math functions.
