Sony has decided to distance themselves from the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake, as revealed by industry insider Jeff Grubb. However, Saber Interactive remains committed to finishing the project despite Sony’s lack of enthusiasm. Saber CEO Matthew Karch reassures fans that the game is still in development and progressing well.
With the uncertainty surrounding the project, including multiple developer changes and a lack of official updates, some fans are skeptical about whether the game will even be released. Grubb believes that the KOTOR remake may never see the light of day, especially now that Sony has reportedly lost confidence in the project and no longer wants to be associated with it.
My understanding is that Sony wants nothing to do with it anymore, which is why I thought it was dead. Obviously, though, Saber still seems very determined. And I have a lot of trust in Saber. https://t.co/0c7jtdeQDk
