On April 3, 1998, Morita Shogi made its debut on the N64 in Japan. As Seta‘s second release after Saikyō Habu Shōgi, this game included a modem port for Japanese players to compete with shogi fans across the nation. Nowadays, it’s also used for arbitrary code execution and Nintendo 64 homebrew projects.
