Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus Classics Catalog additions for April 2025, bringing two nostalgic titles to Premium subscribers. These classics will join the service’s growing library of retro games, offering subscribers a chance to revisit or discover these beloved titles with modern enhancements.
The April 2025 PlayStation Plus Premium Classics lineup features:
Alone in the Dark 2 – This survival horror title from the original PlayStation era has been updated for PS4 and PS5 systems. The game continues the legacy of the pioneering horror series that helped define the genre before Resident Evil came along. Premium subscribers can experience this atmospheric horror classic starting April 15.
War of the Monsters – This PS2-era kaiju fighting game lets players engage in city-destroying battles as various monster archetypes. The game has received significant updates for its PS4 and PS5 release, including full trophy support with a platinum trophy. Players can smash buildings and battle other creatures in this beloved brawler beginning April 15.
Both classic titles have been enhanced for modern PlayStation consoles while preserving their original gameplay experiences. These games will be available exclusively to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers, the highest tier of Sony’s subscription service.
