In October last year, we brought you the news that there were delays to physical editions of the Kingdom of Asteborg and other titles in the series. Publisher PixelHeart has now announced that the Kingdom of Asteborg PS5 physical editions are available. This physical edition for PS5 is limited to 2,000 numbered copies worldwide. It includes an exclusive PixelHeart cover, an official PixelHeart certificate of authenticity and a “PX MISSION #15” envelope containing surprise goodies.

Kingdom of Asteborg is a compilation pack containing two games from the series, Demons of Asteborg and AsteBros. In a press statement, developer Neofid Studios and PixelHeart said. “We’re very proud of this superb compilation, especially as it’s our very first limited PS5 game.” The statement also referred that the physical Switch edition of Kingdom of Asteborg was also available.

The games have a wonderful pixel art style and have garnered high praise on release. Both games offer multiplayer options there are some bonuses in the pack, including a special playable character in Demons of Asteborg. Astebros includes the fun randomised level gameplay and three characters. To round out the package a new menu has been designed and includes image galleries for both titles.
