BATSUGUN Saturn Tribute Boosted, City Connection‘s enhanced port of Toaplan’s Sega Saturn bullet hell shoot ’em up, is finally getting a physical release in the West. Clear River Games has partnered with City Connection to officially bring the game to Western audiences.

The physical release will be available for both PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, with two editions offered:
Standard Edition: Priced at $34.99 for both PS4 and Switch.
Deluxe Edition: Priced at $69.99, this special edition includes:
- A poster
- Keychain
- Enamel pin
- Artbook
- 2-CD soundtrack
- Copies for both PS4 and Nintendo Switch
Pre-orders for these physical editions will open on Limited Run Games’ website on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 12:00 PM EDT and remain available until 11:59 PM EDT on Sunday, May 4th, 2025. For European fans, a release is planned for selected retailers on May 8th, 2025.
BATSUGUN Saturn Tribute Boosted is the first entry in City Connection’s new Saturn Tribute Boosted series, aiming to port Saturn-era games with additional features. The game includes modern quality-of-life features such as rewind, save, and load functions, as well as the ability to adjust various aspects of the game for a personalized experience.
This physical release arrives nearly two years after the game’s digital release in the US and Europe in July 2023, providing collectors and retro shooter enthusiasts a tangible copy for their collections.
