After eight years of dedicated effort, Fan Translators International has released a complete English fan translation patch for Level-5’s 2012 visual novel-style game, Time Travelers, exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS. The announcement was made on February 4, 2025, marking a significant milestone in fan translation projects. Originally released only in Japan for the PSP, PS Vita, and 3DS, Time Travelers is now accessible to English-speaking audiences for the first time.

The game, set in a futuristic Tokyo in 2031, follows five protagonists navigating the consequences of time manipulation to prevent a catastrophic event. Known for its cinematic storytelling and interactive drama mechanics, Time Travelers features branching timelines and quick-time events that influence the story’s multiple endings. The translation covers the entire main story, including all bad endings, menus, movies, and choices. However, the post-game content, described as a life-simulation mode, remains untranslated for now.
