Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics have released a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered collection, titled “Meet the Bosses,” showcasing some of the most iconic and challenging boss battles from the trilogy. The remastered collection, which includes Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider: Chronicles, and Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness, is set to launch on February 14, 2025, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox platforms, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
The trailer highlights several memorable encounters from the series, now enhanced with updated visuals and mechanics. Players get a glimpse of:
- The Sphinx Guardian from The Last Revelation, with improved textures and lighting that bring the ancient Egyptian setting to life.
- The Demon Warrior from Chronicles, showcasing smoother animations and revamped effects for its fiery attacks.
- Eckhardt, the alchemist antagonist from The Angel of Darkness, whose battle has been refined with better camera angles and more fluid combat mechanics.
In addition to graphical improvements like higher resolutions and updated character models, the remastered collection introduces quality-of-life updates such as modernized controls and improved save systems. These changes aim to make the games more accessible while staying true to their original design.
