Super RetroChamp Handheld Relaunches at CES 2025

Super RetroChamp

Super RetroChamp is a handheld console which can run Genesis and SNES cartridges (including Mega Drive and Super Famicom cartridges from all regions). Growing up in the 1990s, the idea of a console that could run both Sega and Nintendo cartridges seemed like a crazy dream, but My Arcade’s Super RetroChamp makes those wild and crazy dreams of yesteryear a reality by running games from both Sega and Nintendo’s beloved 16-bit consoles.

The Super RetroChamp boasts a built-in 6″ full-color screen and a built-in rechargeable battery, as well as HDMI output for connecting the device to TVs.

The Super RetroChamp was originally announced at CES 2020, but MyArcade (who are also responsible for the Gamestation Pro, on which we recently reported) are set to finally make the device available to the public following its relaunch at this year’s CES, where Super Retro Champ was available for attendees to see in action.

The Super RetroChamp is set to retail for $149.99 USD.

In addition to the Super Retro Champ, My Arcade also offer a line of miniature retro arcade devices which include plug ‘n’ play consoles and portable gaming handhelds, offering officially licensed titles from Atari, Bandai Namco, Capcom, Data East, Konami, Taito, and Jaleco. with classic titles such as Pac-Man, Galaga, Tetris, Space Invaders, Street Fighter II, Mega Man, and many others.
